Administration and Underwriters

Medical Recovery Insurance is insured and underwritten by certain underwriters at Lloyd’s. You can check this by telephoning Lloyd’s Market Services on 020 7327 5693.

Medical Recovery Insurance policies are administered by Compass Underwriting Ltd who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Firm Reference Number. 304908. You can check this at www.fsa.gov.uk/register or by telephoning them on 0845 606 1234.

Data Protection

Any information submitted to Compass Underwriting Limited will be held for general insurance purposes, for offering renewal, for research and statistical analysis. The information may also be passed, where appropriate, to service providers working in conjunction with Compass Underwriting Limited. You have the right (subject to limited exceptions) to access and if necessary rectify the information that we hold on you.

If you remain dissatisfied with our final response you can write to the Financial Ombudsman Service at South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London, E14 9SR Tel: 0800 023 4567. The Ombudsman will only consider your complaint after you have written confirmation from us that our internal complaints procedure has been applied in full.

This complaints procedure does not affect your legal rights.

Lloyd’s Underwriters are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if Lloyd’s Underwriters cannot meet their financial obligations.
